Absolutely furious with how Kacal's Automotive handled our diesel food truck — a truck with only 10,000 miles on it. We came in wanting to support a local business. Instead we got burned, badly. $350 just to tell us what was wrong. Then over $10,000 in repairs — repairs THEY recommended — and our truck still had to come back again and again because the work wasn't done right the first time. If you're going to charge these kinds of prices, fix it correctly the first time. That's not too much to ask. Then it got worse. They flushed the DEF tank and just... never refilled it. Didn't check. Didn't tell us. My employees ended up STRANDED because of their carelessness. That's not a minor oversight — that's a business getting stranded because a shop couldn't be bothered to finish the job. And the communication? Nonexistent. Our truck sat there for an entire week with silence. I had to call THEM to find out what was going on, and got the laughable excuse of "no one reached out to you." Staff was attentive & knowledgeable. Went for a multi point inspections. Took about an hour but once done a detailed report was send via email. What is being checked, need immediate attention & for future repairs which was really helpful. AAA affiliated and recommended auto shop.

I got mixed results from Kacals. Yes they fixed the problem I came in for, but another problem arose from those repairs due to the fact that their tech did not loosen & then readjust my, Safety T Plus steering upgrade equipment, when he was doing the alignment. From all I had read about KACALS, I thought for sure they would know how to handle this situation. One of the reasons I choose them was their extensive experience with RV’s. So after paying them more than $3K for all new tires, rebuilt steering wheel box, & alignment & all that goes with it, the shaking & death Wobble I came in for was gone. So yes they fixed what I had asked them to fix, But now my RV was pulling to the right very badly as I test drove it home that evening. So back I went the next day, which they themselves recommended, “bring it back” if it’s not right, and “we will make it right”. However, it did seem to me that upon my return I was a burden to them for these additional repairs. After I contacted customer service at Safety T Plus Steering they explained to me why I was having that problem, they also talked to my service manager at Kacals, Justin, & explained to him the procedure for fixing the issue. Such a beautiful experience, from warm welcoming smiles and good mornings to a patience Elias had while dealing with me in person and my husband over the phone at the same time. The sweetness from the owner must be trained into every employees bones. They kept me updated with time, talked me through the process and even offered more than I expected. I hope my car can have a place in the shop and I can have a place at their table. Yall are awesome!
